Phoenix: 90 days without injury

Northwest: 6 days without injury

New Lab Specimen Guide

Your Friendly Laboratory staff is putting new Lab Specimen Guides at each nurses station!

In order to help serve our Nursing staff and our Patients better, the Laboratory is distributing new Lab Guides to each nurses station.

These are a terrific reference that you can refer to anytime and find all kinds of useful information.

• Need to know what tube to draw? It's in there!
• Not sure how to send stuff with the courier? It's in there!
• Need to know which test to send to St. Joes after hours? It's in there!
• Not sure how to label that Blood Bank specimen? It's in there!

Feed Pump In-Service: reminder

This is a reminder to all RNs and LPNs of the MANDATORY education occurring next week. All RNs and LPNs are required to attend one of the available in-services next week.

Culture Club Quarterbacks

Phoenix and Northwest both had their very first Culture Club Quartbacks meetings this week. Both meetings turned to be a great success. We discussed our Service Excellence Standard for March and April which is Responsibility and the activities we will be planning. But most of all we determined who are Coaches will be for each campus.

Congratulations goes to Jeanna Ramsey (Phoenix Coach) and Paula Franklin (Northwest Coach). Both these coaches have great ideas and are committed to being the voice for the Quarterbacks at The League meetings.
