A Day for Father's

Father's Day, unlike Mother's Day, didn't have the same momentum at it's start. Father's Day wasn't declared a federal holiday until 1972 when Richard Nixon signed it into proclomation 67 years after the first sponsored Father's Day. Father's have a special place in a child's heart and just as their mothers should be honered and reminded how much they are loved.

Here are a couple DIY Father's Day gifts that anyone could give their father.

1. Shadow Love: what a great idea! This can be done at any age with different messages - this one would stand the test of time.
 2. Father's Day Survey: This is just adorable for the younger kiddo in the family. How cute would these be compiled over the years to see how their answers change.

 3. Sweet Daddy: for the Dad that has a sweet tooth this is such a creative idea. You can customize and write anything - these could get very funny.

4. When it All Started: This is a true classic. Not only could it be done with bleach it could also be done using paints or even iron ons. This one is a keeper.

*Note: the names of the crafts are not the actual names from their sources - these names were created to easily identify the projects.
